E2 Series (Engineers Employed) Fall 2022

The Engineers Employed Series or better known as E2 Series, was created by the College of Engineering to ensure that students majoring in engineering, computer science, and data science at the University of Arkansas will be better prepared to enter the workforce. Through various professional development workshops and events, UA College of Engineering students will be equipped to face the challenges associated with the job search process and finding a career that best suits their interests, motivational traits, personality, values, abilities, aptitudes, personal work styles, and work environment preferences.

The E2 Series consists of career readiness workshops, career fairs/events, and employer/student meet and greets that will allow students the opportunity to interact with local, regional, and national employers looking to hire engineers, computer scientists, and data scientists. Students will learn how to create eye-catching resumes, interview effectively, and network with employers that are promoting open positions.

Walmart "Crowd Trivia" Night

Calling all game night and trivia lovers! Join us on November 8th to compete with your friends in a fun twist to trivia night while joining forces with Walmart reps. Instead of your typical trivia questions - teams will work together to identify the best answer for their group based on facts about their own personal experiences (example: write down the number of the person in your group with the smallest hometown population)! The night wouldn't be complete without great food, amazing prizes, and exclusive networking opportunities that could lead to a full-time career or internship. In previous years, we handed out over $1000 in Walmart gift cards, and played trivia with 100+ U of A students.

Register in Handshake starting October 1st, 2022! Open to the first 100 students who register!

If you need an accommodation to fully participate in this event, please contact the University Career Development Center at 479-575-2805 or email recruit@uark.edu.
