Walmart Trivia Night

Are you missing your regular trivia night at Fossil Cove or other hot spots around Northwest Arkansas? Dust off your trivia skills and join us for our third annual Walmart Trivia Night! You will have the opportunity to compete on trivia with fellow students while joining forces with Walmart team members. The top scoring team will be awarded prizes (Walmart gift cards) and you will have exclusive networking opportunities that could lead to a job or internship. Last year we handed out over $1,000 in Walmart gift cards, and played trivia with 70 UofA students. Stand out from the crowd by participating, and join some of the most laid-back and fun Walmart managers you'll meet. Trivia questions will be primarily general trivia, with a few Walmart facts for an extra chance to snag the lead. This year's event will be virtual but still be packed with all the fun and networking as a live event. Don't delay -register now to reserve your spot!

Virtual E2 Series (Engineers Employed) Fall 2020

The Engineers Employed Series or better known as E2 Series, was created by the College of Engineering to ensure that students majoring in Engineering at the University of Arkansas will be better prepared to enter the workforce. Through various professional development workshops and events, UA College of Engineering students will be equipped to face the challenges associated with job searching and finding a career that best suits their interests, motivational traits, personality, values, abilities, aptitudes, personal work styles, and work environment preferences.

The E2 Series consists of resume and interview workshops & critiques, company tours, and a few employer/student meet and greets that will allow students the opportunity to interact with local, regional, as well as national employers looking to hire engineers. Students will learn how to create eye-catching resumes, interview effectively, and network with employers that are promoting open positions. Due to COVID-19 and the limit of students/employers on campus for the Fall 2020 semester, all events will be held virtually. Unless noted for a particular event below, please check your UARK email for event log-in instructions prior to each event.
