Teacher Education Career Fair

Student Info

The University of Arkansas Teacher Education Career Fair allows alumni and all upcoming 2024 education graduates the opportunity to talk with school districts and organizations recruiting for local, in-state, out-of-state, non-profit and public teaching positions. Some organizations will also be seeking recent and upcoming graduates of all majors outside of the traditional licensure programs for non-traditional education positions. If you have an interest in teaching, be sure to stop by the fair and bring several copies of your resume. Business casual attire is encouraged to make a positive first impression.

Employer Info

The University of Arkansas Teacher Education Career Fair allows employers to meet and network with upcoming 2024 graduates who will be seeking teaching positions. These students will be from various majors, such as: agricultural education, art education, birth to kindergarten education, business education, counseling education, elementary education, family & consumer sciences education, music education, physical education & health, special education, speech pathology, secondary education, and technology education. This venue also provides companies branding opportunities on a campus with over 32,000 students representing more than 96 undergraduate majors and 180 graduate programs.

Due to the high participation demand in this career fair and our limited space, organizations recruiting U of A students for teaching/educational jobs and internships are prioritized. Graduate Schools and University of Arkansas academic departments are instead invited to host an information table in the Student Union. Contact Debbie Ritter at recruit@uark.edu for more information about hosting an information table.

If you need an accommodation to fully participate in this fair, please contact the University Offices of Career Connections at 479-575-2805 or email recruit@uark.edu.
