Student Info The University of Arkansas Education Interview Day allows all 2025 teacher candidates the opportunity to learn about the hiring process, ask questions from teacher/administrator panelists, network with school districts, get a professional headshot, have your resume professionally reviewed, and interview with school districts recruiting for teaching positions in Arkansas - all in the same day! Business casual attire is encouraged to make a positive first impression. We highly recommend bringing several copies of your resume for the networking and interview portions. Employer Info The University of Arkansas Education Interview Day is a one-day event for Arkansas School Districts to engage with and interview teacher candidates. A total of 200 undergraduate and graduate students from the College of Education who are seeking full-time teaching positions will attend this event. This event gives you the opportunity to network and interview several future teacher candidates all in one location. PRE-BOOK APPOINTMENTS Students will pre-book interview times from November 6th - November 15th via Handshake. Employer schedules will be pre-built by the Offices of Career Connections. Recruiters will be notified once the schedule has been created to make any edits. The scheduling window will remain open throughout the day of the event. AGENDA 8:00am-8:30am: Panelist Check-in 9:45am-10:45am: Recruiter/School Districts Check-in & Booth Setup 10:50am-12:00pm: Networking Hour/Additional Interview Signups with Students 12:00pm-12:45pm: Lunch provided 1:00pm-5:00pm: Student Interviews (20 minute intervals) Optional 1:00pm-3:00pm: Review student resumes The employer registration deadline is October 30th, 2024. Payment is due upon approval of your registration (starting July 1st). |
