The 2024 Little Rock Career Fair is hosted by Walton Career Connections and is designed to provide additional recruiting opportunities for University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and University of Arkansas at Little Rock students. This smaller career fair setting will provide more 1:1 opportunities with companies specifically interested in hiring you! Business Casual Attire REQUIRED to attend.
The fair will run from 3:30-5:00PM.

On Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 from 1pm-3pm, the Offices of Career Connections will partner with Human Resources and New Student & Family Programs to host the On-Campus & Summer Job Fair in the Arkansas Union International Connections Lounge. This fair is for students who want to talk to U of A campus departments about part-time, work-study, internship, research, and volunteer positions open for the Spring 2024 semester and summer months.

Students who attend the fair will have the opportunity to complete a booth passport to win one of several gift card prizes! Professional attire is NOT required to attend. Come as you are.

Is your campus department or office seeking to hire student employees for the Spring 2024 semester or summer months? Green Careers Fair

Do you have an interest in sustainability as a career? In partnership with the Office of Sustainability and university sustainability curricula, the Offices of Career Connections is hosting the first University of Arkansas Green Careers Fair! This fair is open to all students interested in environmentally focused and sustainable jobs and internships. Organizations attending will be from all industries but hiring for positions with roles focused on sustainability and environmentally conscious efforts.

Professional attire is NOT required to attend. Come as you are.

Employers and organizations are encouraged to register and attend the Green Careers Fair to interact with students interested in and/or studying sustainability or environmentally focused areas. This fair will allow organizations from all industries to recruit for positions with sustainable or environmentally focused roles. Since space is limited, only organizations who will be actively hiring interns and part-time or full-time employees in environmentally focused positions should register.

Whether you are looking for a full-time position, part-time job, or an internship, you will find numerous opportunities at this fair to connect with recruiters from a variety of industries. Also attend this fair to polish your communication skills and gather information about companies. Some employers who attend this fair are focused on students with specific majors; however, many are interested in UA students from all majors. No matter your major, if you are interested in working for any of the industries in attendance, this is the fair for you. Business casual attire is encouraged to make a positive first impression.

Unsure of what companies to talk to at the fair? Take the Challenge Cards Assessment to find out the top three problems you'd like to help solve in the world and then talk with employers at the fair who are trying to solve those same problems! You'll be able to view the challenges employers are trying to solve prior to the fair here.

The University of Arkansas All Careers Fair allows recruiters to connect to UA students for full-time, part-time, or internship positions for all 270 academic programs. This venue also provides companies branding opportunities on a campus with over 32,000 students representing 101 undergraduate majors and 167 graduate programs.

Due to the high participation demand in this career fair and our limited space, organizations recruiting U of A students for jobs and internships are prioritized. Graduate Schools and University of Arkansas academic departments are instead invited to host an information table in the Student Union. During registration, you'll be asked to identify the top 3 challenges your organization helps to solve! Keep in mind that you will need to be able to talk about how your organization is working on the challenge(s) selected at the fair. Students who register for the All Careers Fair will be encouraged to complete a digital card sort assessment called SparkPath Challenge Cards. The assessment will provide students with their top three challenges they want to help solve in their lives/career. We hope the challenge cards will provide students a way to match themselves with the organizations that attend the fair. Upon approved registration, we'll add your organization's logo under the challenges selected during registration which will be visible on our website and in Handshake for students.

Careers in the Arts Fair

The University of Arkansas School of Art and Offices of Career Connections are partnering together to bring employers in the arts to campus! The Careers in the Arts Fair is open to all students in the areas of advertising and public relations, art education, art history, broadcast journalism, communication, creative writing, english, event management, graphic design, music, music education, studio art, and theatre seeking jobs, internships, or other opportunities in arts-related fields. Interact with Northwest Arkansas arts organizations, expand your network, find opportunities to gain experience, and learn valuable industry information.

Students can take Route 13 (Black route) transit bus to the Studio and Design Center (696 W. Praxis Lane) located on the corner of MLK Blvd and Hill Avenue.

Business Career Fair

Hosted by Walton Career Connections, students in the Walton College of Business should attend this fair to connect with employers hiring for full-time, part-time, co-op, and internship opportunities. Attending the fair speeds up the interview and hiring process as many companies interview on campus the day after the fair! Business Casual Attire REQUIRED to attend.

The fair will run from 9:00am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Students may catch a shuttle to and from the career fair at Harmon Parking Garage starting at 8:30am for all students. The last pickup from Harmon to Bud Walton before the lunch break will be 11:30am. The fair will close from noon-1:00pm for lunch. The shuttle will resume pickup after the lunch break at Harmon starting at 12:45pm. The last shuttle from Harmon to the fair leaves at 2:30pm with the last return from Bud Walton to Harmon being 3:30pm.

The fair will run from 10:00am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-3:30pm.

Students may catch a shuttle to and from the career fair at BELL Engineering (Dickson Street side) starting at 9:15am for Tau Beta Pi students and 9:30am for all students. The last pickup from BELL to Bud Walton before the lunch break will be 11:30am. The fair will close from noon-1:00pm for lunch.
