According to the University of Arkansas Sam M. Walton College of Business, "the Bachelor of Science in International Business degree is intended for students who wish to learn more about the international aspects of business. It provides preparation for a broad range of careers in business, including accounting, management, marketing, economics, information systems, finance, retail, and supply chain management. This degree is also well suited for students wishing to continue their studies in law, international affairs, or graduate education in business and economics.

This degree requires completion of the University Core and Walton College Core courses, as well as course work in international business, a single foreign language and an area of study related to that language. In addition, students must select a concentration in one of the following areas: accounting, business economics, information systems, finance, general business, management, marketing, retail or supply chain management."
