According to the University of Arkansas's Counselor Education program, the Counselor Education (CNED) Program at the University of Arkansas is committed to providing quality education and training for individuals pursuing counseling positions in a variety of settings. The four M.S. cognates and the Ph.D. in counselor education are nationally accredited through the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The program offers the following cognates: Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, School Counseling and Addiction Counseling.
