According to the University of Arkansas, "The curriculum in Human Nutrition and Hospitality Innovation allows students to prepare for a career in a specialized area of foods and nutrition by completing a common set of basic courses and one of the concentrations:

  1. Nutrition and Dietetics (NUTR)
  2. General Foods and Nutrition (GFNU), and
  3. Hospitality Innovation (HOSP)

Interest and aptitude for the biological and physical sciences that support nutrition science are needed to successfully complete concentrations in Nutrition and Dietetics and General Foods and Nutrition. Hospitality Innovation is the best choice for those students who have an interest in management and who enjoy working with people."
