Teacher Education Career Fair

UPDATE: Due to impending winter weather, we have rescheduled the Teacher Education Career Fair to Thursday, March 20th.

The University of Arkansas Teacher Education Career Fair allows alumni and all upcoming 2025 education graduates the opportunity to talk with school districts and organizations recruiting for local, in-state, out-of-state, non-profit and public teaching positions. Some organizations will also be seeking recent and upcoming graduates of all majors outside of the traditional licensure programs for non-traditional education positions. If you have an interest in teaching, be sure to stop by the fair and bring several copies of your resume. Business casual attire is encouraged to make a positive first impression.

The University of Arkansas Teacher Education Career Fair allows employers to meet and network with upcoming 2025 graduates who will be seeking teaching positions. These students will be from various majors, such as: Agricultural Education, Art Education, Childhood Education, Business Education, Counseling Education, Elementary Education, Family & Consumer Science, Music Education, Physical Education & Health, Special Education, Secondary Education, Drama Education, English Education, Social Studies Education, Foreign Language Education, STEM Education, and Technology Education.

Due to the high participation demand in this career fair and our limited space, organizations recruiting U of A students for teaching/educational jobs and internships are prioritized. Graduate Schools and University of Arkansas academic departments will be approved as space allows close to the registration deadline.

The new employer registration deadline is March 6th, 2025. Payment is due upon approval of your registration.

Are you a student looking for a job or internship in healthcare, social services, government, nonprofits, or public service? Are you considering medical or professional school? The Health & Helping Professions Career Fair is just for you!

The Health & Helping Professions Career Fair allows all undergraduate and graduate students to gather information about graduate and medical schools and to look for full-time, part-time or internship positions in the health and helping fields. This fair will include recruiters from hospitals, health clinics, social service agencies, law enforcement, non-profit and government organizations, mental health clinics, graduate and professional schools, and other companies and organizations seeking to hire or connect with students interested in working in the health or helping fields.

Common majors of students in the health & helping fields include: Communication, Psychology, Criminology, Nursing, Athletic Training, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Exercise Science, Occupational Therapy, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Public Health, Public Administration & Nonprofits, Human Nutrition & Dietetics, Birth Through Kindergarten, Kinesiology, Child Advocacy Studies, Political Science, Biomedical Engineering, pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-physician assistant, pre-physical therapy, pre-occupational therapy, pre-pharmacy, pre-optometry, and pre-law studies.

The SEC & ACC Virtual Career Fair is hosted by CareerEco. Interested students will need to create an account and register online at: https://www.careereco.com/events/SECACC. Register to meet with employers virtually via video chat rooms! Receive interviews without ever leaving your computer and avoid waiting in long lines. After registering, jobseekers simply need to upload their resume for employers to view.
