Animal Science (ANSC)

"Animal Science is the science and management of domestic livestock, including beef cattle, dairy cattle, horses, sheep, swine and companion animals.
Three undergraduate concentrations prepare graduates for positions of leadership and responsibility in the production of beef and dairy cattle, swine, horses, sheep and companion animals. Additionally, coursework in meat science, breeding, nutrition, animal health and physiology is available to refine academic experiences to match interests and prepare students for careers in the industry or placement into graduate, professional or veterinary school."
