school? The Health & Helping Professions Career Fair is just for you!
The Health & Helping Professions Career Fair allows all undergraduate and graduate
students to gather information about graduate and medical schools and to look for
full-time, part-time or internship positions in the health and helping fields. This
fair will include recruiters from hospitals, health clinics, social service agencies,
law enforcement, non-profit and government organizations, mental health clinics, graduate
and professional schools, and other companies and organizations seeking to hire or
connect with students interested in working in the health or helping fields.
Common majors of students in the health & helping fields include: Communication, Psychology,
Criminology, Nursing, Athletic Training, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Exercise
Science, Occupational Therapy, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Public Health,
Public Administration & Nonprofits, Human Nutrition & Dietetics, Birth Through Kindergarten,
Kinesiology, Child Advocacy Studies, Political Science, Biomedical Engineering, pre-medical,
pre-dental, pre-physician assistant, pre-physical therapy, pre-occupational therapy,
pre-pharmacy, pre-optometry, and pre-law studies.

The Health & Helping Professions Career Fair allows recruiters to connect with UA
students interested in health and helping-related careers, internships, or graduate
schools. This fair will host recruiters from hospitals, health clinics, social service
agencies, law enforcement, non-profit and government organizations, mental health
clinics, graduate and professional schools, and other companies and organizations
seeking to hire or connect with students interested in working in the health or helping
fields.
This fair is promoted to all students, but highly encouraged for the following majors:
Communication, Psychology, Criminology, Nursing, Athletic Training, Social Work, Sociology,
Counseling, Exercise Science, Occupational Therapy, Communication Sciences & Disorders,
Public Health, Public Administration & Nonprofits, Human Nutrition & Dietetics, Birth
Through Kindergarten, Kinesiology, Child Advocacy Studies, Political Science, Biomedical
Engineering, pre-medical, pre-professional, and pre-law studies.
Most common majors who attend: Nursing, Biology, Exercise Science, Psychology, and Public Health
Employers and Professional Programs are encouraged to register and attend this event
to connect with students with interests in working in health or helping-related industries
and/or pursuing health or helping-related professional licensing through graduate
education.
The employer registration deadline is February 5th, 2025. Payment is due upon approval
of your registration.
