Participation Guidelines

Eligibility

  • • Students need to have completed 45 hours.
  • Students need to have a 2.5+ cumulative GPA at UA, Fayetteville.

If you are interested, contact the Agriculture Co-op Coordinator in University Union 607. Please make an appointment to meet with the Coordinator and to fill out a UA Co-op Application. This application will be sent to employers by the Coordinator in an attempt to place you in a job related to your major.

Process Of Co-Op Registration

  • To learn more about this program, please contact the CDC at 575-2805 to schedule an appointment to speak with the Arts & Sciences Co-op Coordinator. You will discuss during what types of employment you are interested in and would best suit you.

Placement Requirements

  • Students wishing to participate in the Arts & Sciences Co-op Program will need to complete the forms contained in the Co-op Packet. This packet will be given to students during their meeting with the Co-op Coordinator.

Academic Credit

  • Students are allowed to enroll for a maximum of 2 hours of credit for each semester-long coop work tour they participate in.
  • All students are encouraged to participate in at least 2 work tours.
  • A maximum of 4 hours of co-op credit will be counted for DEGREE credit.
  • No letter grades will be assigned for co-op. Students will receive "credit", indicated by "CR" on the transcript, for work completed.
