Process Of Co-Op Registration
- Make an appointment to speak with the Co-op Coordinator. You will discuss what types of employment you are interested in and would best suit you. Make certain that you indicate whether you are interested in a Parallel or Alternating Co-op.
- Prior to coming in to work on your application, acquire a Working Transcript from the Registrar's Office. This transcript will cost about $1 and is part of the UA Co-op Application.
- Submit a resume online using eRecruiting.
- Communicate frequently throughout the semester with the Co-op Coordinator!
Placement Requirements
- All students must read and sign a copy of The U. of A. Cooperative Education Participation Guidelines Form particular to their college. Signed copies of this form will be kept on file at the UA Co-op Office and at the Dean's Office.
- The Co-op Coordinator will submit your application to participating companies and make arrangements for on-campus interviews when necessary.
- Company recruiters will often call students directly to setup an on-site interview. Notify the Co-op Coordinator of any communication with a company official.
- All students who are placed through the UA Cooperative Education Office must enroll for co-op credit for each semester they are working (fall, spring, or summer).
Academic Credit
- All Agri. Co-op students must submit a completed U. of A. Cooperative Education Application and a current Working Transcript.
- Students are allowed to enroll for a maximum of 3 hours of credit per coop tour.
