I've had the privilege of working with the University of Arkansas' Career Placement Offices for the past two years. There are numerous other ways for you to become involved with the CDC. You may be interested in becoming a mentor, taking part in an externship, conducting a classroom presentation, assisting with Mock interviews or other CDC events.

We placed an ad for a summer companion for our special needs, 9-year old son. This is a unique position, that needs just the right person, and we had never hired anyone before. A senior communications major responded within 2 days, and has proved to be just perfect for the job! I can't tell you how easy it was to place an ad on the website, and find just the right person.
